ABAStroke
Health-tech product
A precision-driven approach focused on geometry and harmony.
Clinical-grade rehabilitation, designed for a first-time app user recovering from a stroke.
(Leadership)
I led the UI design and directed the UX and research team - including Agnieszka Unzeitig and Paulina Szopa - through multiple product iterations, coordinating with clinical specialists and the ML/AI team on a project that engaged dozens of professionals over more than a year.
(Research)
I started by studying the problem directly with clinicians and therapists - mapping physical rehabilitation exercises onto a digital experience for a demanding target group with cognitive and motor limitations.
(Experiment)
I built an adaptable design system that prioritized accessibility over convention - larger touch targets, high clarity, interfaces that mirror physical objects patients already recognize. Multiple iterations refined not just features, but how the app communicates and motivates daily use.
